Lashoon

The principal medicinal uses of Lashoon (garlic) includes lowering triglycerides levels, blood pressure and cholesterol. Allicin, a compound found in garlic stops the oxidizing of LDL (bad cholesterol). It reduces the incidence of blood clots and thus helps prevent thromboembolism (obstruction of a blood vessel by a blood clot that has been dispositioned from another site in the circulation). Lashoon reduces the expression of genes responsible for the formation of adipose cells which store fat. It also increases thermogenesis in the body and leads to the burning of more fat and lowering of LDL (bad cholesterol).

Methi

Methi contains a flavonoid named naringenin that lowers the lipid levels in those with high cholesterol. An effective cardio protector, it reduces fat absorption and possesses a remarkable ability to lower cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL levels while balancing HDL levels, thus dramatically reducing the risk of abnormal blood clotting associated with heart attacks and strokes.
